Absolutely love this book!! The work is so beautiful, there is a lot of excellent info on botanical drawings, and how to paint them - mainly using watercolour.

I also really liked the design layout of the book - but that's the graphic designer in me talking, you might not care for it.

I wouldn't considering it a beginners book, therefore all the steps aren't listed. However I still found it fascinating as horrible as I am at watercolour. :)

This book is so beautiful. I was genuinely so surprised by its wonderful drawings but I wasnt sure it could help me. I am so pleased it has.

Its a truly lovely book and the drawings have made me to feel so close to nature and improve my drawing skills and inspiration.

There is no doubting the artist's skill, but I felt like this book was more advanced than an introduction. It could be that it is my confidence and/or skill level that is lacking. This book is not a beginner watercolour instruction book, so be aware of that when purchasing the book. However, this is a beautiful book to look at even if you are not interested in painting. I have drawn and painted the pear and it looks exactly like the one in the book and I have my sights set to do the garlic braid next. I am happy with the purchase.

This book is very thorough and helpful, mostly about watercolouring. I love the art of botany and now I feel like I could give it a good shot.
