High End Restaurants in Palm Beach Gardens

There's just something so special about hopping in a boat and cruising down the intracoastal in South Florida, and, in particular, the Palm Beaches. What makes it even more special is having a great meal at a one of the many fantastic waterfront restaurants.
Palm Beach County has tons of restaurants on the water, and you can get to all of them either by boat or by car. Here are a few of our favorite waterfront restaurants in Palm Beach County, starting from Northern Palm Beach County down to Southern Palm Beach County.
Palm Beach County Waterfront Restaurants
U-Tiki Beach
(1095 N. Highway A1A, Jupiter)
For the most breathtaking views of the Intracoastal and Jupiter Lighthouse, head to U-Tiki! This restaurant is all outdoors, so be prepared if you come in the summer… no air conditioning! But, breezes are plentiful!
We love that they have seating undercover in the actual restaurant, but what we love more is to find a table in the sand on their beach and watch the boats go by as we drink and dine. U-Tiki is just what you'd expect from South Florida waterfront restaurants.
Their fish is always fresh and delicious. There is plenty of parking if you come by car, and there are lots of boat slips if you come by water. We only have one issue with U-Tiki… it gets very, very busy and they do not take reservations! So, grab a cocktail from the bar and head out to their beach because you will have a wait (but, it's worth it). As waterfront restaurants go, this one's got it all!!!
U-Tiki opens on Monday through Friday at 4:30pm, Saturdays and Sundays at noon. They have Happy Hour, at their bar only, Monday through Friday from 4:30pm until 6:00pm. Dress is casual. You can reach U-Tiki either by car or by boat.

Charlie & Joe's at Love Street
There's a new kid in town! Charlie & Joe's at Love Street is brand new as of February 2021. This is a fabulous waterfront venue that is actually four venues in one!
It is owned by none other than Jupiter resident, Joe Namath and his business partner, Charlie Modica. The venue has a rooftop tapas bar, 2 restaurants and a seafood market with the freshest seafood from just offshore. There are unobstructed views of the intracoastal and the beautiful Jupiter Lighthouse.
The 4 different venues here at Charlie & Joe's are:
- The Tackle Box Seafood & Supply Co. features fresh seafood from local fisherman from right here in Jupiter. Come by boat and eat curbside, or get beer, sandwiches, and supplies delivered to your boat to go! MENU FOR THE TACKLE BOX
- Lucky Shuck Oyster Bar & Taphouse is a laid back raw bar that has over 20 local craft beers on tap. This venue has indoor or outdoor seating. Wait till you try the biscuits they serve you while you wait for your meal. You'll want to fill up on these alone! - Beacon is the high-end restaurant that focuses on Mediterranean cuisine and craft cocktails. This stylish restaurant features a "culinary theater", a showpiece exhibition kitchen that is the focal point of the dining room. - Topside at the Beacon is a rooftop tapas bar and restaurant. It features a tropical tiki kind of feel with artisan rums and frozen drinks, local beer, wine and a Basque-style tapas menu. MENU FOR TOPSIDE
Guanabanas
(60 N. Highway A1A, Jupiter)
For a super unique experience, definitely check out Guanabanas! This island tiki bar themed restaurant is on a quiet canal in a very lush tropical setting. Guanabanas is one of our favorite places to go for cocktails and listen to live music.
Guanabanas was first opened by surfers in 2004 as a sandwich shop. Now, they have grown into a very popular Northern Palm Beach County establishment.
We have not been here to eat in a while, but the food used to be very good. However, I hear from friends that the food is not as good as it used to be. I do plan on making a dining visit ver soon. I'll let you know the food verdict soon! In the meantime, head here for great drinks and some of the best live music in the area!
They are open each day starting at 11:30am, with Sunday brunch starting at 10am, but they do not accept reservations. Dress is very casual. Guanabanas can be reached by boat or by car.

Jetty's Waterfront Restaurant
(1075 N. Highway A1A, Jupiter)
Another one of the Jupiter restaurants with amazing panoramas of the intracoastal and Lighthouse is Jetty's Waterfront Restaurant. Jetty's is a little more upscale, and a little less casual than the previously mentioned restaurants.
Jetty's has been serving excellent seafood and steaks in this same location for 25 years. They have beautiful seating indoors, and outdoor seating with stunning views. They are open every day beginning at 4:30pm, and have an early bird menu until 5:30pm. Jetty's takes reservations, and please dress nicely. You can reach Jetty's either by boat or by car.

1000 North

If you want a really upscale meal and you don't mind paying very high prices, 1000 North is what you're looking for. Yes, the prices are a little outrageous for the fairly good food, but the location is fantastic.
It's an elegant restaurant that has an extraordinary wine list. As you dine, you'll have vistas of the Jupiter Inlet and the Jupiter Lighthouse. Two of the founding partners of this restaurant are Michael Jordan and Ernie Els… so, this is one of those restaurants where you just may get a glimpse of a celeb.
1000 North is open Monday and Tuesday from 5pm to 9pm; Wednesday and Thursday from 12pm to 9pm; Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 10pm; and Sundays from 11am to 9pm. Weekend brunch is served each Saturday and Sunday. They accept reservations, and the dress is classy! You can reach 1000 North either by car or boat.

Dive Bar Restaurant

The Dive Bar Restaurant is an open-air bar/restaurant with marina views and a large 2,000 gallon saltwater aquarium, as well as additional smaller aquariums. This is a very cool place with excellent food!
They have an amazing raw bar with the freshest oysters, clams and sushi you can imagine. And, if you're into craft beers, you'll be in heaven! They have an ever-growing list of craft beers to enjoy while taking in the views.
This is one of those perfect restaurants to arrive by boat. They are open 7 days a week from 11am to 1am. Dive Bar is currently not taking reservations, and the dress is classy/casual. Dive Bar can be reached by car or boat.

Cafe Des Artistes

Cafe Des Artistes is a quaint waterfront restaurant serving classic French cuisine. It is located in the Jupiter Yacht Club Marina, so it's the perfect place to land after a day on the boat.
This little bistro has authentic French food with rich flavors in a beautiful atmosphere. They also have a very extensive wine list, specializing in, of course, the wines of France.
As you know, Florida is very seasonal… lots of snowbirds fly down for the winter. This Bistro's hours are based on the season. They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 10pm in season, which is from October 1 through May 14, and from 5:30pm to 10pm during the remainder of the year. Reservations are accepted, and the dress is classy. Cafe Des Artistes can be reached by car or by boat.

The River House is one of those restaurants that has been in the same location on the intracoastal for many years. It has beautiful water views from 2 different levels, as well as an outdoor tiki bar.
They have an extensive menu for lunch and for dinner, as well as a nice Sunday brunch menu. Their prime rib is some of the best in the area!
The River House is open every day from 11am to 10pm (11pm on the weekends), and they accept reservations. Dress is smart casual/classy. The River House can be reached by boat or by car.

If you're looking for more of a healthy, upscale option on the water, head to Seasons 52. This very beautiful restaurant is on the intracoastal in Palm Beach Gardens.
Their menu changes with the season… whatever is in season is what they'll make. It's all fresh food, never frozen, and it's all stuff that's good for you. You won't find a fryer in their kitchen, and, in fact, all of their menu items are each under 600 calories per serving. See their current menu's nutrition guide.
Seasons 52 is open daily for lunch and dinner, and they take dinner reservations. Please dress classy. Seasons 52 can be reached by car or by boat.

Waterway Cafe

Wow, just the mention of Waterway Cafe brings back so, so many memories!!! I used to spend pretty much every weekend and every Wednesday Happy Hour partying here with my friends. It's been in the same beautiful spot on the intracoastal since 1986.
The Waterway Cafe was built on the site of the former Waterway Marina. It has okay food (meh)… but it's most known for being South Florida's only floating bar. It provides fantastic views, tropical drinks, and live entertainment. And, all you single ladies and men… it's been voted as one of the best places in the Palm Beaches for singles to meet!
They are open daily, serving lunch from 11:30am to 4pm, and dinner from 4pm to 9pm. Their happy hour is Monday through Thursday from 4pm to 6pm, Wednesdays from 12pm to 6pm, and Friday from 3pm to 6:30pm. Waterway accepts reservations, or you can join their waitlist on Yelp. Dress is sort of classy, casual. Waterway Cafe can be reached by car or by boat.

Frigate's Waterfront Bar & Grill

This is one of our very favorite restaurants. Warm South Florida breezes under swaying palm trees, and a cool Florida/Caribbean vibe are what we love about Frigate's Waterfront Bar & Grill in Northern Palm Beach County. They have amazing fresh seafood, including an extensive raw bar and sushi, an awesome tropical happy hour, and a super fun atmosphere.
Frigate's is open Monday through Thursday from 11am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 11pm, and Sundays from 9am to 10pm. They have a great Sunday Brunch available from 9am to 1pm for $26.99 for adults, and $14.99 for kids 12 and under. Reservations are accepted, and dress is casual. You can reach Frigate's either by boat or by car.

Sailfish Marina
(98 Lake Drive, Palm Beach Shores)
The Sailfish Marina is one of those old Florida institutions that's been around for years. It's changed quite a bit over the years… it went from a small restaurant with outdoor seating and a pool, to a very large restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and a couple of bars.
Sitting across from the famous Peanut Island on Singer Island, this restaurant is more famous for its Thursday Sunset Celebrations, cocktails and Grouper Dogs. It's super casual, with decent food. It's the views and the fun surrounding this establishment that you want to come here for.
They are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner… 7am until 10pm. They do not take reservations, and the dress is casual. The Sailfish can be reached either by boat or by car.

ER Bradley's Saloon

Another place that brings back lots of memories for me is ER Bradley's Saloon in Central Palm Beach County. They used to be on the Island of Palm Beach, and it was a huge happy hour destination for me and my friends. It's now located across the waterway on Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach, and it's much bigger… with water views.
Although it's not right on the water, it still provides some really fabulous views of the intracoastal and the Island of Palm Beach. They also have great live entertainment nightly to enjoy while you eat and/or drink.
This is one of the Palm Beach County restaurants that I think more about drinking, rather than eating. The food is good, but not outstanding. It's a fun place, though. And, after you've eaten, you can take a nice stroll down Flagler Drive and walk off those calories.
They are open 365 days a year for lunch and dinner, and they serve breakfast on the weekends beginning at 8am. Reservations are accepted and dress is a classy casual. Happy hour is from 4pm to 6:30pm Monday through Thursday. Drive to this location, or park your boat at a nearby marina.

Al Fresco at Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course

Al Fresco at the Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course on the Island of Palm Beach is a one of a kind dining experience. Not only is it on the Island of Palm Beach, it's also right on one of the most beautiful golf courses in the county, and also right on the Atlantic Ocean. Views from restaurants just don't get any better than this.
Their lunches are fantastic, and lunch is a perfect time to enjoy the panoramic views. They have a great menu consisting of delicious Italian specialties, seafood, sandwiches and burgers.
Al Fresco is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations are accepted by telephone, and the dress is classy country club. This restaurant can only be reached by car.

You won't feel more like you're on vacation than you will at Benny's on the Beach. It is on the Lake Worth Pier over the Atlantic Ocean… what a stunning location!
Benny's has been providing incredible food and service on the Lake Worth Pier since 1986. Their creative American and fresh seafood cuisine is all made to order. In fact, the chef's creations and his restaurants have been featured on Food Network and HGTV!!
Seriously, you can't get better food right on the Atlantic Ocean anywhere in South Florida. They are open daily from 7am to 9pm (serving breakfast, lunch and dinner), and they take reservations for dinner. Benny's has a fantastic Happy Hour every Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm. The dress is classy casual. You can only get to Benny's by car… unless you want to anchor and swim!

The Old Key Lime House is a historic restaurant in the Lake Worth area. It's the largest tiki bar in all of South Florida, and they've been serving casual seafood, live music, phenomenal sunsets, and beautiful intracoastal views since 1889. See their calendar of live music!
They are open daily from 11am to 11pm. Happy Hour is on Monday through Friday from 4pm to 7pm, and the dress is casual. Reservations are not accepted. Come by boat or by car.

The Banana Boat has been a South Florida institution since 1978. Yea, I've got a lot of good memories from here, too! It's on the intracoastal waterway in Boynton, accessible by boat or by car.
This "anchor" landmark in Southern Palm Beach County serves fresh seafood, fabulous sandwiches and potent cocktails at reasonable prices, in an authentic Florida atmosphere. They also have great live music. See their schedule of musicians here.
Banana Boat is open daily from 11am until 2am each day of the week, and they serve Happy Hour from 4pm till 7pm Monday through Saturday, at the bar only. Reservations are accepted, and the dress is smart casual/classy. Come by boat or by car.

Pull up in your boat, or take a drive to Two Georges Waterfront Grill for live music, booze, good food, and more booze. If nothing else in Palm Beach County gives you that laid-back vacation vibe, then Two Georges is just what the doctor ordered!
Two Georges is on the intracoastal under a thatched roof. It's been here for 60 years, so they must be doing something right, right? Yes, they are! Their seafood is always fresh, their burgers juicy, and their drinks potent! They also have weekly live music to keep you entertained while you drink those tropical cocktails.
